CS4 seminar
Monday I will be attending a CS4 workshop in Austin and I am so excited I can't speak! Granted I am still working off of CS2, but I plan on getting the new upgrade VERY soon. My co-worker, and a friend of mine will be making that back-roads trip to Austin on Monday, and it will be an all day event. We will going to classes on all of the applications included in the creative suite! So, hopefully I can take a turn for the better on some of my photo editing.
FYI.....
I will be having some holiday specials coming up soon! be sure to let me know if you would like fall/holiday picutres taken.

my new favorite blog
I can not explain how much I love this blog called "bakerella". My co-worker Heather told me about it and now I am hooked. she makes AMAZING cakes and anything you can bake and tells you how to make it yourself. LOVE IT! One post that I was reading she made a"Doberge" cake. I sooo miss my Doberge cakes from New Orleans and I was just talking about making one, when I saw her post. I want to attempt to make this cake and lots of other items on her menu. So be on the lookout for more food and recipe related posts.
she also made some some cake pops that I am going to attempt to make. Here's how cute they look.
Now if I can only get my kitchenaid mixer, life would be so much easier to bake. (giggling) My poor Hubby, I get to bake for fun and he has to eat all the goodies after I am done.

A sew sew day
Here are some pictures from my sew sew wknd. I hit the floor running this wknd with all of my sewing projects I had lined up for myself. First I embellished a plain pink t-shirt with some fun ribbon. I had never tried this before and I think it came out very good. I will be giving this to my niece for her birthday in a few wks. She had asked me to sew her something the other week, (I don't know who she thinks i am, Martha Stewart?) so I had been wanting to make this for a while, and I decided to make it for her. Next I had been wanting to make an apron that would be cute for dinner parties, and not necessarily for keeping grease off of you when cooking. I added some netting underneath to make it poofy! well, its not really poofy, b/c the fabric is pretty heavy, but I think it turned out pretty well. Lastly I made a cute burp cloth, I had seen this and thought I could make it myself, and viola,I did. So enjoy my sew sew creations below and let me know what y'all think!!!!

LIttle Henry
Here are some pictures from this past friday. At my office there are to be seven, thats right seven, new babies this year. This is the first one that I have gotten to photograph. Little Henry. He was the most patient and well mannered baby I think i have photographed. He slept through most of it and hardly ever fussed. Here is just a sneak peak of more to come. Enjoy!
