I know many people believe that Resolutions are silly and ridiculous, they are, but it does help to keep you on track. These resolutions that I made this year are things that I was working on before and will continue hopefully forever and in hopes that they will just come easier to me.
1. keep up blog and website. I am already slacking in this category, but hopefully today I can catch up and start from here. I know I get sad when I check a blog (that I read religiously) and it hasn't been updated, so I will try to do my best.
2. Learn how to sew. My wonderful hubby got me a sewing machine for Christmas, so I want to learn how to sew many things. I plan on making more gifts this year for everyone. I am working on a project right now for the bathroom window. (actually I just have the fabric) I'll let everyone know when I am done with it.
3. READ more, Less TV. I watch an ungodly amount of t.v. between HGTV and my fav. tv shows I am sitting in front of the t.v for hrs a day. I could definately be using that time for good. (like pics) So I havent really been reading since high school and there are Lots of books that I want to read. I have already finished a book by Nicholas Sparks, and am now reading a book by Mike Huckabee! I am doing pretty good with this one, until Hero's, Chuck, and Pushing Daisies comes back on.
4. Workout and change diet. This is besides wanting to look good, but also for health reasons. I have a membership to Gold's Gym, and I am doing "Yoga Booty Ballet", which is a blast. I have also been cooking more foods that we don't usually have. Besides the normal, hot dogs, hamburger helper and frozen pizza. pics to come of recent cooking activites.
5. Photo workshops and etc. I really want to work on my skills this year and better myself, which in turn, gives you more enjoyment. I really want to go to a workshop this year so I know how to run my business and learn more photo tricks. This year I will be starting to use New books, so prices will go up on weddings. If anyone hears of any good workshops let me know.

Rachel & Jared
Rachel & Jared got married back in November. As you can tell I am little back-blogged. I am trying to catch up so I will have quite a few entries in the next few days. Well, back to Rachel, she and I worked together at Bruns Family dental. miss you guys! I promised her I would come back to Louisiana to do her wedding. They got married in a beautiful old chuch in Gonzales and their reception was at the Carriage House in Gonzales (which was where I got married). Rachel used to do Rodeos and it was soo amazing to see her in her wedding dress. I teared up as she walked down the aisle. She was a beautiful bride. We got some pretty amazing shots of the wedding.

Heathers senior photos
My friend and co-worker Heather graduated from A&M this winter and asked me to take her senior pictures for her. It was really fun and we got to go all over campus, which I had never been. Heather even took her dog Sophie and she joined her for a few pics. That evening we also did some Christmas pictures of them and her boyfriend Alex. (I probably wont post those right now) Here are a few from the session.

The Edited.
Here are a few of the pictures we did not pick for our Christmas card, but were worthy of showing. I dragged Matt out one sat. afternoon, and as always here in college station, it was a gloomy and windy day. We did what we could with what we had. So I dragged him to downtown bryan and set up my tripod all over town. We didnt have too much of a crowd, thank goodness. I bought a nifty remote control for my camera, so that I no longer have to run back and forth to set the timer. I thought not having to run around would save my hair, but no, the winds where like gail force and were non-stop almost. We had a good time nonetheless and I took about a hundred pictures. Poor Matt, but he did no complaining. He's a trooper. So here are the finalists.

Simple gifts & hubby greatness
Last night Matt and I opened each others gifts. We will be leaving tonight to head down to south Louisiana (the swampland) back home. So we decided to do our own Christmas on Mon night. We plugged in our Christmas tree lights and turned Harry Connick Jr on. I got Matt and new dress shirt and tie since he'll need a lot of those in the next coming months. I also got him a new light weight fleece for those days he rides the bus and its a lil chilly. Matt loves Get Smart, he used to watch it all the time when he was younger so I got what I thought was the old episodes but it was a movie with the old characters...so he was excited nonetheless. I have started watching a new show (new to me) Pushing Daises. I absolutely love it! its such a creative and whimsical show. There's a lot of verbage and its told in a storybook fashion. so Matt got me the first season, since we (meaning I) started watching it in the second season. Now I can find out whats really going on. haha. He also got me a 2 year subscription to "Real Simple" magazine . Which is the best mag. out there. My mom started to receive it LONG ago, when they first came out. I used to take hers and read it all, and she'd never see it..sorry mom. so she ordered it for me for a few years. I think i have almost every issue still at my house. For my final gift my Wonderful Hubby gave me a sewing machine. I am Soooo excited. I tried to take a sewing class a few months back but i didnt have my own sewing machine, so I couldnt take it. Matt remembered me being upset and wanted to get it for me. I was so surprised because I didnt think he remembered me talking about it, because I often talk about things I want and then I forget about it. lol. I am pretty excited becuase now I can hem my own pants and finish some pursed I tried to make in college. Sad huh? So now everyone might be receiving handmade items for the next few birthdays and holidays. lol. I will have to make post the pics of us later. I just wanted everyone to know what a wonderful Hubby I have. As we all know!!

It was at a beautiful church in Baton Rouge. Here are just a few pictures from the big day. There will be more to come. I have been VERY slow at getting things up. I have lots of sessions to blog about so today I am trying to catch up. Let me know what ya think!
